I changed my email from POP to IMAP in Thunderbird and now have all these Phantom Folders in the Folder Pane Toolbar and need to know how to hide or delete them

I followed the directions provided by Thunderbird to convert my email accounts from POP to IMAP. All went well except that now my old accounts show up in the Folder Pane Toolbar as a light color and my new IMAP accounts are dark colored. I want to get rid of these unused old accounts in the Pane but can't find any help to do this. Also, my Junk mail now shows up along with my inbox mail. Under POP, it went into the Junk Mail folder. I want my junk mail to go into the Junk Mail folder like before, again, can't find any info on how to do this. Thanks.
