Ready to move to Quantum but still have Session ???'s

more options

OK I'm convinced version 61+ will be great but my biggest concern is saving multiple sessions. Session manager has worked well for me and the ability to save and name multiple sessions is very important. I am familiar with OneTab and actually have saved all the URL's in my many sessions using it. Does any extension working in Quantum come close to the old Session Manager that served so well until version 57?

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/my-sessions/ is an alternative that may help.

If you aren't using the latest Firefox, you are using an insecure web browser, so you need to update to 60.0.1 ASAP

Thanks... I see there is another manager just created 3 days ago , MySessions (beta). The reviews seem mixed and I will read more but this important and I will stay with version 56.? for a bit longer.

You definitely should not stay on 56. Please update to 60, and find another session manager once you update.

The My Sessions extension is unusual because it uses bookmarks for storing tab URLs.

Here are two other options:

Those use extension storage (a single data file for each extension). Since extension storage files are not backed up automatically by Firefox, you may want to manually export their data from time to time as a safety measure, or back up your Firefox profile folder regularly. See: Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.

When you switch to Firefox 57 or later, the old Session Manager data folder will remain in your profile folder, but in order to use its contents in another extension, you will need to figure out their import features. Alternately, you can convert Session Manager files to clickable lists of links using my page here:
