install doesn't work,

I installed firefox. It doesn't start up, because it says

"Your firefox profile cannot be loaded, it may be missing or inaccessible". 

I googled the problem, and found that I had to delete the Mozilla folder in %appdata%. When I try that, it says

"You need permission to perform this action."

"You require permission from DESKTOP~xxxxxx to make changes to this folder."

I don't know what else to do.

Did you delete any folders from Mozilla after uninstalling older FF version? If not that might be where the conflict is coming from.

I know what the conflict comes from. I used Mozilla previously, and apparently with a different windows-user profile, and now windows won't let me access it. I need to delete the folder in order to be able to clean install mozilla, but I can't delete the folder because windows won't let me access it.

Hope I clarified.
