My tabs & address bar are transparent & hard to read- I've chosen a darker theme ..improved (sort of) but still not good. How do I fix these so I can see them?

Hi.. it would be really good if I could make my tabs & address bar etc. a solid, opaque color. At present, if I have another window open behind firefox (which is most of the time), my tabs etc. are impossible to read. I've searched for & tried different themes (I'm using a darker one at the moment) but none I've found provide an adequate solution. Are you able to point me in the right direction?.. or, fix this? Thanks & cheers, Peter.

I personally hate the transparency in Windows 7 aero theme. Have you considered globally disabling it? https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/283-transparency-enable-disable.html

(I actually do not remember whether there is a way to disable it only in Firefox.)

jscher2000, thank you for your quick response!

The transparency in windows 7 doesnt cause me any issues, so no, I hadnt considered disabling it ..in fact, personally, I quite like it (visually I mean - each to their own, eh?). So the transparency of windows 7 affects the transparency of firefox? Thats interesting - it doesnt affect any other program I have. I'm also surprised enable/disable transparency isnt an obvious option in firefox- surely, there must be a lot of others with this issue.

Someone else may get back to me with a way to disable it only in firefox, but in the meantime, I'll thank you greatly for your time & consider your suggestion. Cheers. P
