In addition to the Firefox Urgent Update malware, there is a similar Urgent Yahoo Update orange screen. It is resolved through the Task Manager

At first blush, it's innocuous, til one tries to eliminate it, close it, ESC it. The best path is via Task Manager, where is appears as an Application, something not right, like a directory address. 'End Task' gets rid of it. It has recurred twice over the past week

I recommend that you install a decent anti-virus/anti-malware software and do a complete system scan.

In the end consider (after the above steps) installing an ad blocker add-on like Adblock Plus and also updating your Firefox to the latest version.

If having issues browsing the internet then easiest would be to try using a second healthy computer.
