How do I delete a downloaded Firefox update on the Mac?

I've got Firefox 46.0.1 on MacOS X (10.11.6). When I click "About Firefox" it tells me "Restart Firefox to Update"... which I absolutely don't want. This will break my Selenium configuration.

I do have "Check For Updates" unchecked... but it's already been downloaded. Is it possible for me to delete the downloaded file and proceed?

You can look in /Applications/Firefox.app to see if you can find the new version.

Mac: /Applications/Firefox.app/updates/0
Mac: /Applications/Firefox.app/Updated.app
