How do I log into this site?
I have tried the 'My password isn't working' link, the 'I forgot my username' link, the 'I didn't get a confirmation email' link and had no luck. Nothing has been emailed to me. I have signed in to Mozilla with my browser, and I've signed in with some Mozilla service I will now need to unsubscribe from. The only thing that seems to work is using a different email address to make a new account.
The original problem seems trivial compared to the trouble trying to ask about it causes.

this site works in a really odd fashion.
You have to go through and ask your question. It will then give you the opportunity to register. You register and confirm your e-mail address. Then you log in and start all over again to ask your question. I just did this.
Yes, except I already have an account, and it says I should log in to ask a question, but cannot log in. Cannot make a new account because the email address is in use, and cannot get my password emailed to me. So wind up using my other email account .... but what happens when I can't log in with this one either?
I have reported this to a moderator and asked them to get someone with the forum to help. The workings of the forum are not really covered here or any other place I have found unfortunately.

Me, too. I have previously had an account, but I had to go through all those steps to login and ask a question. It is like I had to begin again from scratch.
