Chosen solution

Do you use Websense (Endpoint)?

The bug page referenced by the crash report says certain versions of Websense are incompatible with new Firefox versions. Websense are also a few versions behind with Firefox, he latest "certified" FF release is version 39, see here: http://www.websense.com/content/endpointproductmatrix.aspx.

The workaround would be to install 39.x or use FF ESR for extended backwards compatibility. The Websense interference can't be fixed from Firefox's end.

You are correct. The newer versions of Firefox do not work with the current version of Websense. Switching back to Firefox 39.0.3 solved the problem. Thank you for the very fast and accurate response!! Thank you.

You're welcome! It looks like Websense has been informed, so I hope they come out with more support soon.
