Firefox v. 38.05 will not install

When I check for updates to v.38.01, Firefox offers 38.05 as the latest version, but always fails to install

Try this:

Download the Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
Start the installation with a double-click on the desktop icon

Hello billyr, please try from the next full installer - all language link : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

when you run the full installer you can install firefox over your current.
