Attempt to uninstall Firefox on my iMac has left "mozilla.org" and "mozilla.net" in my cache. I've tried to remove it by clearing history and website data but it refuses to go away. How do I get rid of it and get back to where I was before trying to install Firefox?

Note that Firefox uses two locations for the profile folder. One for the main profile. /Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<profile>/ /Users/<user>/Library/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/<profile folder> A second location for the cache (see about:cache) /Users/<user>/Library/Caches/Firefox/Profiles/<profile>/Cache

In Mac OS X v10.7 and later, the ~/Library folder is a hidden folder.

Found the solution on YouTube as follows: open "Finder", pull down "Go" menu while holding down "Option" key. This will reveal hidden "Library" file. Open "Library" file and delete hidden files "Firefox" and "Mozilla" that were left behind when Firefox was uninstalled. End of problem!
