the web site above has banners that members advertise on. i can't see them unless i restart my computer but after a while they cannot be seen again! help!

Chosen solution

If you use extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

Also make sure that your security software isn't blocking the ads.
