Delete that updater.exe file.

I would of deleted the file a long time a ago. I search for it many times and it can not locate it. I am not talking about the computer Windows updater. This is from Mozilla and a separate exec is not located any place I look. Maybe you know where I can find it?

Look in the Firefox program files folder.

Is this a message from your security software that the updater.exe program is trying to access internet?

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

No this is coming from the Mozilla Firefox. It asks permission every day to update one feature or another. My Norton says its safe. But I keep closing it. I look at details and its called Firefox software updater. I did not ask for a exe to keep tabs on all my features and programs.

what is with this Mozilla ? Who do I contact to help with this? this should not be this hard. Other people say they have the same thing. it pop up again. Norton said it safe. Again I check the details. It gave like 4 different locations on my hard drive. And its not straight forward in locating this? This seems to be weird. And I can't find a place in Mozilla to contact anyone. Why do I need to read a bunch of different web sites to get rid of something that should be an easy on off option?
