For some reason when I try to stream a radio station it says it's connecting, but it will not stream content!!!

Some setting changed so now I cannot stream audio which was a piece of cake before whatever setting changed. I checked cookies and popups and added the web site but all it says when it comes up is connecting, but it doesn't connect.

You can update to Firefox 31 that has been released today.

What plugin is used to play those streams?

You only have the Flash plugin, so if another plugin is used then you may have to enable or (re)install that plugin.
