When I export my bookmarks to an HTML file, some of them are missing when I open the file. Is Firefox not displaying all of them properly, or is there a bookmark limit that I've surpassed? I have approximately 3,734 bookmarks. I know that's a lot, but I'd still like to know if there's a way to fit all of them into an HTML file without having to delete any.

Are those bookmarks also missing if you check the HTML in a suitable editor?

You can check the places.sqlite database with this extension:

How are you viewing the HTML file -- as a web page in Firefox (or IE), or in a text editor, or after importing it into a different Firefox (or a different profile on the same system)?

I'm viewing the HTML file as a web page in Firefox. After I export the bookmarks file to the desktop, I open it from there.

I just tried exporting my bookmarks to an HTML file again, and all of them are viewable this time for some reason (even without the extension cor-el provided). Maybe the first time I tried to create the file, it wasn't able to save properly. In any case, I think the problem is solved. Thank you both for your assistance.
