Unable to view webcam
Hi. Since upgrading to FF4, I have been unable to view Roanoke Rail Cam at http://128.173.197.94/railcamjv.htm. When you went to the website, the WM web player clicked in & you could view the webcam, but not now. As far as I can see, I have checked the add-ons, & WM Firefox plugin is installed. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Any suggestions please???
Doersn't matter, reverted back to 3.6.16 until a solution is found, until then, I will be steering clear of Firefox 4! :-(
Works fine in Firefox 3.6.16, but not in Firefox 4.0, Opera 11.00, or Safari 5.0.1.
I get this error message when I right-click and select Error details.
Unable to download an appropriate decompressor. (Error=80040200)
Cannot play back the video stream: no suitable decompressor could be found. (Error=80040255)
You could try again with a new profile for the Firefox 4 version.
Do a custom install and install the Firefox 4 version in its own program folder, then you can use both Firefox versions.
Create a new profile exclusively for the Firefox 4 version and create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch each Firefox version with its own profile to avoid profile corruption.
See these mozillaZine KB articles for information:

Some information about using multiple Firefox versions can be found here:
Didn't work for me in Firefox 4.0 with a fresh Profile, with no extensions installed - (Java Quick Starter extension is disabled). I get this message box in 4.0 that doesn't appear in Firefox 3.6.16, and neither of the two (just this once) selections allows the web cam to show.
Edit: dom.ipc.plugins.enabled set to false got it working in 4.0!
I wonder if the HTML5 Video Shim from Microsoft will actually fix that??
Modified
Does anyone know if version 4.01 has had the above problem solved??? Thanks in advance.
