My Firefox automatically updates, and when it finds an update available, it downloads it for me. But, it will not install the update and it keeps sending a message that there are other Firefox browsers open and I need to close them, when I have no others open or running.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== It tried to install the updates

Did you check your Windows Task Manager: ALT + CTRL + DELETE to make sure there's no other Firefox running under the "Process" tab? Sometimes even though you have closed FF, it remains in the Process window and you have to kill it manually to end the program.

This is happening to me also! A real nuisance too because it just keeps trying to install and after about 5 times firefox opens without the update. Every time its the same thing over again. I love firefox, but this is getting old. Same problem with last 2 updates!! Ugh-----
