Can I move the Messages Menu to the left side of the screen?

I was wondering if there was a way to move the ENTIRE messages column to the left side of the screen next to/in front of the Folders menu. I tried looking it up online but have not found a way to do this and was unable to find something that looked like what I was looking for on the FAQs.

Try the Stacked view under View/Layout, after installing MoreLayouts.
