On a small Windows box, the hdd was going out. I was able to put it in a USB enclosure and the drive works for a few minutes before crashing again. This person doesn't have a recovery method for her Gmail and the password was saved on the small desktop. I have copied over the AppData/Thunderbird folder to my MacBook. Need help finding the hash so I can send it to someone with really large rainbow tables to help this girl get her forgotten password. Any suggestion on where the hash can be found?

Forget about the hash. Place the recovered Thunderbird folder in its rightful place and start Thunderbird. You should be able to launch the recovered profile simply by launching Thunderbird. If the profile doesn't load by default, you can use the Profile Manager to launch it. See Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages and other user data and Profile Manager - Create and remove Thunderbird profiles
