Is it possible to disable the default value for the from field when composing emails?

I have several email addresses (for work, uni and private stuff) and want to keep those separate. But when I click a mail-to link I frequently forget to change the default address to the one I actually want to use. I'm kinda doxing myself. Is there a "normal" way of forcing me to select a specific address such as not having a default account or do I have to create a dummy account with an invalid address / no login credentials to use as default? Making the behavior consistent with the write button (i.e. using the address of the currently selected folder) would already help. Thanks

Yes, creating a dummy account would work. Also, you could highlight account in left sidebar prior to selecting the compose window and that will cause the FROM to reflect that account.
