Loss of email connection
My Thunderbird email connection keeps disconnecting. A message comes up saying, ' unable to connect to IMAP you may have exceeded the of connections from the server.' It then tells me to go to advanced IMAP. I don't understand this and don't know what to do.

Hi This earlier answer shows how to get to the Advanced settings, and change the limit - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1082511 Set it to a low number, just 1 or 2. Disconnect/log out all your other devices (phone/tablet) from email if you have also connected them to email. Shut them right down in case you have multiple tabs or services (calendar/mail) connecting to your online account. Shut down Thunderbird. Wait 15 minutes and start Thunderbird. See if the issue has resolved.
