Use older design

Hello everybody!

I just updated my firefox to the newest version - and I absolutely hate the new design. Is there any way to "keep" the newest version, but have the older design?

I know that installing the version before the design got updated would be a possibility, but for various reasons I would like to avoid doing that - at least if there is any other option. If not, I'll just have to do that I guess.

Help would be very much appreciated!

Greetings

At best without having to downgrade, you might try the following:

Open about:config

Then set "browser.proton.enabled" to false.

Currently I don't believe there is any switch or button to change, but you can install a custom UserChrome style in order to change things. One that I've seen recommended is https://github.com/black7375/Firefox-UI-Fix I'm sure there are others in the works.
