As a recovered Outlook user, I much prefer Thunderbird. But there are a few features that I miss.

I frequently forward emails to one of a small group of people. In Outlook I could set up a macro (which could also be set to a keystroke combination) to forward an email to a specific address. It's not a big deal, but avoids a few mouse and keystrokes. Over multiple times a day it adds up.

If there is a way to do this in Thunderbird I haven't seen it.

Any suggestions appreciated.

thx,

No, TB does not have macros.

But there is Tools > Run filters on selected message(s) - however its usefulness may be limited because it runs ALL filters on the selected messages
