Why are search results are in a white text on a light gray background?

Not sure who makes the design decision but the recent change of search result to default to a white text on a light grey background was a really bad one! How do I undo this?

Try to start Thunderbird in safe mode. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

I see you're on Linux and using a dark TB theme. On W10, I don't have this issue with the Global Search results, with either the built-in Dark theme or TT DeepDark, so it may be related to your version of Linux.
