Why when clicking on Firefox search bar coumpter will go to separate Google search bar requiring another click to complete search?

How many more people have this problem that don't take the time to report this?? I'm sure that many just don't know how or take the time to report this problem.. This problem doesn't make Firefox faster but slower..
