HI :)

When I get used to double clicking files to open them and then get to writing e-mails I sometimes double click the send button and next thing I see is that there are 2 exactly the same messages sent. It seems of no use at all and like something maybe worth fixing? I would definitely benefit from a fix like that :)

Thanks! :)

This is not something to 'Fix' because there is nothing wrong.

It's a bit like doing some artistic painting: I want to paint a blue sky, but it always turns out pink because I keep using pink paint, how do I fix.

You need to stop sending it twice by only clicking once. It is a button not a file.

Suggestion: As you seem to have developed a habit which is causing you some grief, there are other options you could use as a workaround. Try them out to see if you can find a better method that suits you.

via the 'Menu Bar': 'File' > 'Send Now' or Use the keyboard: Instead of clicking on 'Send' button use the keyboard 'Ctrl' + 'Return' keys

Try Send Later option: via the 'Menu Bar' : 'File' > 'Send Later' or Go into 'offline' mode to compose your emails. This is easy, just click on the two blue screen icon located bottom left in Status bar. It will change to two back screen icon when offline. then clickon 'Write'. Compose email and then use the 'Send Later' button. Go back to 'online' mode. click on the two black screen icon located bottom left in Status bar. It will change to two blue screen icon when online.

You can then check the 'Outbox' to see if there is one or two identical emails. You could then delete one of the two before sending. To send: right click on 'Outbox' and select 'Send all unsent messages'
