(Android) Close Tabs on Exit?
(This is not an issue on Desktop) Every Single tab does not close when I exit the application on android. I have been waiting for almost a year now and still haven't seen any progress, the "quit" button is not a solution to this issue as it is no different to pressing more buttons to active an outcome other browsers like Brave already have.
When is this going to be fixed this is hugely stupid and I still can't fathom how dumb this update is.

You can use the private browsing feature. All the taps there close after firefox is stopped (cache cleaned) or you clicked the permanent notification that comes up when using private browsing.

This is not a solution and would make you sign into every site each time also open private browsing every single file time, counter productive and pointless that can be fixed with automation with app behaviour closing tabs on exit.
Hi
You can set tabs to close afer a period of time, but I understand this is not what you are looking for.
When you navigate away from an app in Android, the app is still open in the background. You need to tell Firefox for Android to exit (using the exit button/clear history option mentioned) to trigger the tabs to be closed.
I hope that this helps.

This options are from a day to a month that is not the a solution to closing when exiting the application.
This doesn't solve the issue, tabs closing on exit has been missing and I've been waiting for more than a year now. Exit button for an application the user is leaving intentionally...
Yes. The exit button is needed to trigger the exit process.
