Sorry to put this there, but there is nowhere else to go. Keep reading and you'll see the problem. In fact, I have 4 problems to report.

1. I build websites so I am acutely sensitive to website problems when I encounter them. I rarely go to mozilla.org's desktop site, but did today and ran into an instant problem:

I had reason to think I already have an account with mozilla, yet the mozilla.org homepage offered me NO "sign in" link, only a link in the upper right corner to "Get a Firefox account". I am quite sure I already have one, so this makes no sense.

SOLUTION: There should ALWAYS be a "sign in" link on any website that offers access mediated by accounts. Make things easy for uses by following established conventions. This homepage clearly needs a sign-in link.

2. I decide to report this problem, so I look for a "website problems" link in the page footer. Nothing there. I click the "contact us" link and am offered a wide range of options, but conspicuously missing are both a "website problems" link and an "other problems" link. I have NOWHERE to take my problem. Incredible.

SOLUTION: Provide on the target page of the "contact" link BOTH a "website problems" link and an "other problems" link.

3. Still trying to find a way to avoid posting all this on a forum where it clearly doesn't belong, I click a link to go to Mozilla's Facebook page. There, I find that the page is abandoned by Mozilla, as of 2018.

SOLUTION: Do NOT refer people to an inactive Facebook page. That is tantamount to a dead link. It also suggests that the Mozilla website is being managed by zombies. Search Mozilla.org for "Facebook" links and remove all of them.

4. Earlier today I posted about a problem, in this very Forum, using my phone. When I go to mozilla.org's desktop homepage there is nowhere to be found any evidence that user forums even exist, much less a link to easily go there. Really? Why not? I discover the forum links accidentally when I click "contact" in the footer. Why are the forum links on an inappropriate page? That page is NOT about forums and should not contain this information.

SOLUTION: Remove the forum links from the "contact" target page. Put the on a "user forum" page, to which there is a conspicuous link on the Mozilla.org homepage. MAKE IT *EASY* for users to get help.

==> If there is a better place for me to post this, give me the link and I will do it. I simply could not find that better place. (Sigh.)

Thank you for your question and feedback. Hopefully I can address your points:

The button on mozilla.org page is designed to encourage people to get an account. There is no content on that page (that I am aware of) that makes use of the Firefox Account. Selecting that button takes you a page where either you can sign up, or (if you are signed in) be taken to servces that use the Firefox Account.

There is a link at the bottom of the page that takes you to the bug reported platform.

Where did you see the link that took you to the Facebook page? There is a notice on the Facebook page that explains why it is currently inactive.

There is a link at the bottom of the page for Product Help. This takes you through to the support site where you can view questions you have rasied and see our support docuemnts (as well as raise a question if they do not answer your query). I can see that you have raised https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1320290 that I will take a look at for you.
