These pop ups started 3-4 months ago. I've tried uninstalling what I thought may be the extension causing this, but it still persists. The last couple of days, I've been receiving the error message in the screenshot and both times it appeared to have been caused by a pop up.

Hi Seburo. Thanks for the information. If that's the case, I doubt it's what's causing the pop ups. I'll disable it and report back.

No, there are several "fake" pages that pop up, all from the same source I'm sure.
