Often the same messages get downloaded twice or more times to my inbox, even after they have been deleted. I've noticed that this seems to stop once I've emptied the contents of the "Deleted" folder. However, when I am trying to clean a lot of messages out of my inbox at one time, for instance after a vacation, I am not fast enough--multiple copies of the same messages keep appearing. It's very frustrating.
