Running Max OS 10.5 on Macintosh G4 DDS desktop currently Firefox version 3.6.23. Am told that support will not continue. Can I install version 7.0.1? The current version runs without any problem but I can't participate in some podcasts.

Chosen solution

Firefox 4+ versions aren't compatible with PPC Macs.

For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4 / 5 / 6 /7, try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8 .

For the time being, I shall keep on using FireFox vs 3.6.23 since it is working OK but will keep TenFourFox in mind. Main reason that I explored vs. 7 was that I wanted to participate in a podcast that required that version.

Thanks for you prompt reply.
