Firefox 5.0.1 won't downoad trying to update older version

Trying to download Firefox 5.0.1 to update older version so I can play Angry Birds. I click on download, click on Save File, the file has downloaded three times but does not appear to be running. When I return to the Angry Birds website it keeps repeating the message that I must have FF 5.0.1 to play. Can't get 5.0.1 to run. Help please. The safety of the free world is riding on this one! Tom

I do not think that FF 5 will run on Windows 2000. I think you need at least Windows XP SP3 to use it.
