as firefox has never offered any support or email addy for help with firefox, will, it now finally offer support and email addy for firefox v4, if firefox will not offer or give any support via email etc then there is absolutely no point in using firefox 4 as when or if it goes wrong as was often the case with firefox 3.6 no one will answer any problems or give any help at all

Support for Firefox is either by using these forums or the text based live chat available at http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/chat

Mozilla do not offer email support. Help in these forums and on live chat is provided by volunteers who do so in their own time for no reward.

good answer

as firefox obviously has no confidence in its own product by not offering any official support then its just not worthwhile haveing anything to do with a product, which, when it goes wrong as it did badly with v3.15, due to an untested update.

99% of isp's and pc publications highly reccomend that if a site or program refuses to divulge its own email addy or refuses to offer support for its own product then its best to avoid it at all costs, as when it falls down there is no where to go.

as for using the forums well that has to be the biggest laughable statement ever made. i have previously used firefox for over 2 years up till the point where all the untested updates caused more and more trouble, then i tried the forums. that was 6 months ago and try as you might no forums have ever been found. in fact this is the first reply ever in over 2 years of asking questions. a forum for the benefit of you and other misleading people like yourself, generally list questions and possible answers normally listing in date order.

never found any forums on firefox and subsequent questions on other genuine forums are met with responses such as, "forums on firefox" no such thing mate. and, forums there just a ruse to get you linking backwards and forwards on firefox site but you will never ever find them.

as no support is forthcoming there must be 2 reasons, either firefox have no confidence in its own product or firefox wants to drive people back into the waiting arms of ie.

well off to get ie9 now who of course must be rubbing their hands with joy at this blatant lack of firefox support.

its called "how to shoot yourself in the foot2 by firefox

i will of course reccomend to all other forums that until proper genuine honest support is offered by firefox then its best to avoid it at all costs. our college will never ever use it and never has due to the lack of support and the invisible forums.

another lost user thanks solely to firefox lack of support

as this is the first reply i have ever had in over 2 years from anyone remotely connected to firefox then i dont expect a reply. ps thanks for the spyware in the most recent upgrade previous to v4 which i will never use.

I am not remotely connected to Firefox, I am a volunteer. Firefox is a free product, support is provided by volunteers. It would cost a lot of money to set up a support department and pay the staff.
