I use firefox exclusively as my browser. I use Google as my home page. In the mini search window on the upper right of my tool bar, I selected Google as my search engine, and deleted all others that were in the drop down list. I went into the c:/programs/mozilla/ file, and found a yahoo folder, and deleted that. I have deleted yahoo from my add/remove' hardware list. And yet, Yahoo! still pops up as the default engine whenever I create a new tab. This is annoying, because I much prefer to use Google. I will appreciate your help with this.
