Ever since the latest update a few days ago web pages will not load (just a blank screen with 'done' at the bottom) and I have to constantly refresh the page in order to have it loaded. I have done all the virus scans, malware checks, etc etc by several programs but the problem still exists This annoying problem applies to most of my popular web-pages and makes any timed game play almost impossible. How can I roll back to the previous version of FF (prior to this security update) as that worked fine.

FF version 3.6.12. XP-pro sp3

I have the same problem. I open Firefox and go to Google. Search for a page then right click and go to open in new tab. It opens a tab with the header up the top and that's it until I either refresh the page or go to the green arrow at the end of the address bar. When does this happen? EVERYTIME! I can see that it gets the address, then seems to stall on loading the rest of the page.

Here is a temporary workaround, but it has flaws! You can fix it by going tools>options, and tick off the box that says enable JavaScript. HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!! This means that if there are any pages (Which are many) which require JavaScript to open a needed page, IT WON'T WORK!!!!!! Most of my pages may require a JavaScript so I can flick to the next page, or look at a picture.

If you go to extensions and/or plugins in the tools>addons and disable Java, the problem still happens. It HAS to be disabled in the tools>options menu.

I have version 3.6.12 of Firefox. I also have the latest Java V6 update 22 so the Java site tells me. Java Console 6.0.22 XP Pro SP3 All Firefox updates are up to date.

I migrated from IE as Firefox was faster and better, and V3.5x was great to use. V3.6x seems to be fighting with JAVA for some reason. It seems that you currently have 2 options: downgrade or turn off java and get no satisfaction from the browser.

Please can this be fixed!

There is a 3d option and it's called Google Chrome

Firefox is unusable right now, I even had to reload this page twice before I could completely read it.

Just an update. I deleted FF (keeping personal info), scanned pc for viruses, spyware etc, cleaned and defragged, rebooted and re-installed FF. Same problem still exists having to reload/refresh every page in virtual all web pages in order for the page to load properly and complete.

Now what do I do ????

This is not a solution.
