I currently am running version 3.6.6

I want to install the latest version ... can I simply download the update, close Firefox - and do the install?

Will EVERYTHING be saved (bookmarks, history, current sessions etc)?

Of late - Firefox has really slowed to c crawl - and then - I cannot even run it ... this is even after cleaning cache and other items I don't need. I DO tend to have many sessions open at the same time ...

Download the latest version from http://www.mozilla.com and install it on top of the current version, it will not remove your user data.

The order in which you update is not important as long as you update all programs.

Firefox will find the updated plugins via a registry scan.
