how do i control where downloads are saved on to my computer? when i download attachments from school i have no control where they are saved to and i cant find them. please help!
I download attachemnts (word and pdf documents) from emails for my college classes. And with internet explorer i controlled where they were saved to. but with firefox it just says save and i have no idea where it is saved to. i cant find 75% of the things i have saved and i need them. how do i control where my stuff is saved to???

Go to Tools -> Options -> General
Under Downloads section, click Browse to change the default download location.
But if you want to decide where to save the download each time, then choose the option ‘Always ask me where to save files’.

Update the Java plugin to the latest version.
