Hi Jim.

You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

I have used the FF plugin toggler to disable all plugins with the same outcome. It is strange.

I can open a new tab with no delay....just new windows which cause the 2-5minute delay.

Even when I hit the "Browse" button to upload a screenshot for this post takes 3minutes to open in a new window.

Maybe I should move to Chrome.

I did say "add-ons". The terminology is a bit complicated, I know. Please disable extensions too, since they are often the source of the problem, as plugins.

BTW, add-ons is anything that is added to Firefox, be it an extension, a theme, a search engine, a dictionary, a persona or a plugin.

Disabling extensions worked....now I have to work backwards to figure out which extension is causing the issue and post that info back here.....we'll see.
