Is it normal for Firefox to generate a popup dialog box, stating something like "Firefox requests permission to receive keystrokes from any app in the system."? At first, I thought this was to enable copy/cut/paste via the clipboard buffer. Then I thought, "I never saw this before, why now, could this be malware trying to do something bad to my system.

Hi firefoxx1, Could it be from the Copy Link Text extension which you are using? Check the Permissions for that extension.

I don't know if that is involved or not. That extension is functioning normally, but neither FireFox nor that extention have been granted any permissions I can find in the security preferences.

When the prompt came up asking for the permissions, I did not grant them. The prompt has not reappeared.
