Firefox buffers 5-8 seconds when jumping forward or backward on YoutubeTV. Chrome buffers less.

I prefer to use Firefox but when I jump back or forward on YTTV it always buffers for a minimum 5 seconds. Chrome not so much. Is there anything that can be done? Thanks
