Thunderbird compacted my emails to-day. Now no email controls work, not even close or reduce size, so I can't read new or old emails (I can on my iphone). Computer is otherwise OK (I can only use it because clicking the Thunderbird icon minimizes the screen). Does Thunderbird have a telephone number?

Thank you Corey. My "computer minder" found that Windows was trying to install a large update (using all my RAM) & failing, because I turn my computer off when I've finished & didn't know this was happening. I left it on (update took 7 hours to complete!), & now Windows & Thunderbird seem reasonably happy! Thanks again, Paul.W

Thunderbird does not have a human being call number sadly.

What OS and version of Thunderbird is this being experienced on?

Compacting is the act of compressing for disk space the emails you already have and has nothing to do with the viewing or reciept of any NEW emails or threads in a pre-existing message thread.

Do you have any new or eccentric add-ons? If so, does the same behaviour exhibit itself when running in safe mode?
