How to fix "The connection was interrupted" when going to a certian website

I have been trying to go to a website for weeks now and keep getting this error message

"The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few

   moments.
 If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
   connection.
 If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
   that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

I have tried both Mozilla and Safari, different internet connections, using my phone as a hotspot, clearly the cache. None of the quick fixes seem to do the trick. Any advice?
