I can't open my word doc which is saved under the download file.

I am able to open this file and I can see the document which I saved yesterday but when I try to open it I am unable to because it doesn't give me that option of open file for that document whereas for others I have that option. Please help, I really need this document

HI Onne, I understand that a particular file will not open. It may need to be downloaded again or moved to a different folder.

For issues with downloads in Firefox try these troubleshooting steps:

Note that Firefox save a file to the %temp% folder when you use "Open with" to open a file in an external application. It is not guaranteed that such a file is still there the next day and you should always use "Save as" to save the file elsewhere under a different name when you modify the file and want to save changes.

If this is what happened then it is likely that you have lost your edits.
