I was trying to install a minecraft modpack about 2 days ago using curseforge, but now randomly when my browser is open this pop-up will appear even though i havent visited curseforge since then

Firefox using the changeable drop-down menu of search providers, hides page URLs. I use them all the time to link out to others, etc. Can this behavior be toggled on/off?

I am using Firefox Developer Edition version 154.0b5 (latest according to settings) and when I try double clicking or use ctrl + A, the url won't be selected (or parts of it if I try something selecting something specific). Double clicking doesn't work at all.

Is this a bug?

Since the latest beta update, Beta, v. 154.0b5 (64-bit) I cannot select or highlight text in either the address or search bars. Is this a known problem? (See red arrows in screenshot)

Recently everytime I open a page in Firefox I get the message "Open the be link?" "You'll need to choose an application. Before this I got another dialogue box asking me to open the System Handler, but I managed to get rid of that to be left with this new dialogue box. Very frustrating as it interrupts the use of Firefox. Chris

On every browser I've ever used for all of my internet using life, including THIS browser, when you hover your cursor over a link, a cartoony hand appears and the link URL appears at the bottom. Very recently, I write on 7/27/26, this no longer works on Firefox. WTF?

Hello: Suddenly when I go to click on a hyperlink in the body of an email, nothing happens. (I might see the pinwheel for a few seconds, but that vanishes and nothing is opened).

I am using: Firefox 152.0.5 (64-bit) Windows 10 Roadrunner email through Spectrum

Is this a Firefox issue or an email issue? Thanks in advance for any help!

When a link from outside Firefox opens the desktop browser, it displays the default home page but does not continue on to the URL specified in the link. This is new for me in V 152.0.6 (aarch64) . Mac OS 26.5.2 (25F84)

I see many complaints about this new version v 149 for the Mac. The most outrageous one is that you can no longer drag links from a browser page (try BBC) to an email or a doc. You have to copy the link then it won't turn blue and only when received will it show up as a link. Like many others after 30 years use preferred over Safari and others I am seriously losing patience with Firefox. On the very day you announce split screen for Ff windows - you disable a vital feature that has worked for years causing me to waste so far 60 minutes of my hard pressed work time. Maybe this will be corrected in the next upgrade. But I am now intending to avoid all Firefox upgrades for 6 months after being offered. I doubt anyone on this forum will come back on this but my set-up is Mac OS Monterey - and Firefox v 148 worked perfectly before today. I hesitate to try and install the previous version because I am not used to doing such tech moves. Perhaps someone in the Mozilla head office congratulating themselves on the marvellous new upgrade will come across this but I doubt it

When I click a link multiple Firefox windows open all with the profile select. I close them one by one but clicking the link again opens the same five windows. Where is this behavior stored?

MacOS: If not already running, Firefox does not load requested URL on launch MacOS 26.5.2, Firefox 152.0.4

How to reproduce: 1) Set Firefox as the default browser 2) Completely quit Firefox 3) Open a URL (e.g. open Spotlight, type a query, select "Search the web", or any of the many other ways) 4) Observe Firefox opens but does not open a tab with the externally requested URL

This used to work fine. It still works on Windows. Reproduced on two different Macs. If Firefox is already running, it works as expected.

IF I click on a link in, e.g., a Disqus comment -- say, if I click on https://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2026/Items/Jul01-4.html THEN the Firefox response is to send me to, e.g., https://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2026/Items/Jul01-4.html:1K9Y2syRo30ousOmB06EENUd6jg Of course, the outcome is a "404 Not Found" error message. So exactly WHAT is the point of FF adding ":garbagecharacters" to the end of URLs, since doing so utterly *incapacitates* the functionality of "clicking on an embedded link" ?

About every 1/2 hour I get this popup asking how to open a spotify link, with spotify or Firefox. see image that's great if I've actually clicked on a spotify link, but I haven't clicked on any links. So it's pretty annoying I'm fully updated on 152.0.3 (64 bit) window 11 up to date any ideas how to stop this?
