It doesnt appear to be phishing email as the link points me directly to my already logged in firefox account.

Under connected services I see "Unknown" that I'm not able to sign out of.

This seems concerning, and it appears im not alone

Here are some examples of other users with similar issues

I want to open links in a new tab without being diverted instantly to that new tab. In settings, I disabled the option “When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately”. Normal links in Firefox behave like that, all well. Images open as well in a new tab without switching to that tab.

But, when I am working in Firefox Inspector, in the code. I want to open an image’s link as well in a new tab, without switching to that tab instantly. And that’s where it fails: it has me switching to that new opened tab.

I tried to change in about:config the option “browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground” to “true”, (was: false). But apparently this doesn’t work for links in the code in Inspector. Could someone shed some light about this case, please? TIA!

I've been an evangelical Firefox user for over 20 years now, and rarely have any problems. However... every day, I read The Times online (my mother gets a free digital subscription with her paper version), and they've recently changed their site radically.

So it's probably not a FF problem, but The Times people aren't helpful.

Anyway, as I scroll down the index page, I usually <CTRL> click on potentially interesting articles, to open them in separate tabs. When I have a few open, I go through them and read each one in turn.

With the new Times version, when I do this, the index page also changes to the one I've selected for the new tab, which is annoying. I asked their support people about it, but their reply was that <CTRL> click "isn't supported".

Obviously this is disappointing, as it's how I've always done things, and it still works on every other website I visit!

Can anything be done in FF to make it work?

I'm currently having an issue with the above:

Every time I clear everything (cookies, data, cache etc), close Firefox then immediately open it again additional data appears. This never used to happen before. Why is this? For example, just before sending this message it stated 0 bytes. When closing and opening F. again there were 76 bytes. Earlier today, after the same procedure there were 315 bytes of data! So Firefox is not clearing data as it used to. I use Norton AntiVirus and Nord VPN and have just done a disc clean-up but there is still the same problem when they are turned off. Where is this data coming from if I am not using any programs, the internet, nothing; only opening Firefox? Please advise as I suspect there may be hackers sniffing around my computer. I have changed the Browser Privacy to Strict.

Nord VPN also has a security option like Firefox. Is it okay to keep both on simultaneously or will they conflict? What is the best option out of the two if you recommend using only one?

Hi I'm having issues with cyber-hacking and it's happening especially when using Mozilla Firefox. Is there any help you might be able to offer or point me in the direction to get some help with hackers who are more like domestic terrorists? Every time I open my laptop, I keep getting a banner which tells me firefox has notifications. But where are they? It appears in the upper right hand corner of my 2010 macbookpro and disappears without informing me as to where these notifications are. Anyone know where I can look? thanks

Firefox updated itself to V135.0 this morning and now my LastPass icon is missing from the menu bar - top right corner. I can no longer simply click the LP icon to open the vault to access a password for any given website.

Please advise.

I do not speak or understand firefox program. So explaining why I continually have to fight with this program is ridiculous if you don't speak and use the language I USE AS A CUSTOMER in simple terms. I should not have to access upper people and pay money to configure my computer I paid money for already and Firesux continually ruins. I need simple terms to stop my pages from jumping behind what ever that stupid thing is that hides them. I hate that I lose so much passwords and simple processes after every gd update or whim of the programMers. This is wasting time I do not have. AGAIN!

I always watched movies/shows through Firefox browser. Lately some titles are playing back like stuttering, choppy, like skipping frames. This happens on Netflix only. In titles like for instance, "The Blacklist" and "The Juror". In Chrome, they work fine. It's just on Firefox. Something happened with Firefox in one of its latest updates.

I have the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extensions installed, and configured with 3 containers: one for YouTube, other for Amazon, and finally one for Facebook and Instagram. Each container only opens said website and also logs-in to said website. I also have another computer with Firefox which all of those settings are also synced.

Both Amazon and Facebook work perfectly, but the Facebook container constantly logs out both from Facebook and Instagram, prompting me to enter my credentials time and time again, which has reached to the extent that now Facebook presents a Captcha every login, alongside a prompt asking me if I want to save those login credentials (which I say yes).

This started to happen last week as I did a fresh install of my OS on my desktop rig after I logged in into my Firefox Sync account and configured the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension. And yes, I have disabled erasing cookies after I close Firefox, Allow cookies and site data, and added both Instagram and Facebook as explicit options to save those cookies.

EDIT: I also noticed that this happens whenever I open up Facebook/Instagram on the other device (PC/Desktop, and as long as I'm still using the same device, the session is still open.

Hi, for the past couple of weeks firefox is causing the GPU to block firefox when trying to play a youtube short preview by hovering over the short. The screen goes white and then returns and it happens again if you leave the cursor over the short. After a few of these, the message comes up that the GPU (nvidia in this case) acceleration has blocked access to firefox. This will happen every time. The issue doesn't occur in chrome. The issue doesn't occur if firefox is started in troubleshoot mode. If I run in regular mode and manually disable my one extension (keeper) and the two plugins - widevine codec and cisco openh264 codec, the issue will still occur. I have no other add-ins. I have updated firefox and the nvidia drivers to the most current. The gpu is nvidia geforce 940mx with intel hd graphics 620. I am running 64bit windows 10 home on an hp envy laptop with i7 chip. Any ideas? Thanks.
