Hello, I just wiped windows and lost my bookmarks, passwords, and the like. I looked into the support options, as well Firefox profiles (about:profiles) but can't seem to get that data back. It's odd to me that it didn't sync because I also wiped windows last month and it recovered all of my data as soon as I signed into my Firefox account,so I was hoping that would happen again.

Any way to get this back?

How can I widen the bookmark toolbar on Firefox. Not bothered about the actual fonts etc I have poor eyesight and sit some way from the monitor (my TV ) it'll make life easier. Using Linux mint cinnamon 22 on Acer desktop

Hi Team,

Why can't I disable the Search Tab option that is annoyingly cannot be removed in the Customize Toolbar option? Also, why isn't there a settings option to adjust the size of the tab height? Also, instead of mentioning as "Playing" at the bottom and thereby making the tab height bigger why not just show a sound icon before the tab name to indicate the tab is playing some media?

Also, kindly if there is a way to continue extending the support for ESR, that'd be great

I am sitting in hospital with a weird problem. The connection is open and thus not secure. I have successfully connected my 2 android devices, however my Windows Asus laptop is being barred by firefox. I only run firefox. It is a dead end because firefox refuses to allow me to access the net at all. So now I have to get my wife to go and download chrome and see whether that will work. Why can I not override as u understand the risks I also use Norton 360 with its VPN.

When on laptop, I want to synchronize account to desktop. I try to log on but need to get authorization code. The code takes an unreasonable amount of time to arrive, to my phone sms or email. Please allow me to use a different way of logging in so that I don't have time to forget what I'm doing... signed grumpy old man Cheers, George

Recently did clean install of OS Sequoia and then all my apps, etc. Installed Firefox and noticed I had no horizontal or vertical scroll bars, (right side and bottom of browser page). I had do I get those turned on. I use a Wacom Cintiq 32 Pro and the pen so not using a mouse with a scroll wheel. Thanks.

I'm a bit out of ideas how I can get Firefox to display the correct characters. For reference: https://learnjapanese.moe/font/ I just recognized it since Anki is using System WebView and thus defaults to Firefox. There, it worked until a few weeks ago to just set to have the characters rendered in japanese fonts. Windows: I only have german and japanese locale installed, i even changed in intl.cpl the language to japanese. I have installed the japanese language pack / fonts and it's showing correctly in any windows editor. Firefox: Second language set to japanese, disabled all addons, tried it on private mode to no success. Any ideas how I get the characters to display?

This is a growing frustration with this browser. Has Mozilla changed something?

I allow cookies and want them so when I choose a website I use all the time, I can get to it fast AND I see firefox finish typing it. Common websirtes like Home Depot now it does not remember anything NOT ANYTHING. I AM AT SUCH A LOSS.

PLEASE HELP. In the settings and security I have it to allow for cookies. I do not tell it to delete cookies when i close the browswer yet it is not remembering my websites. I can delete cookies if i wanted to do that. Meanwile browsing is slow and it is such an aggravation. tried opal browser because I want something simple and will do what i want, like accept and keep cookies especially for sites I go to some times I cannot remember.

So please can you help with SUGGESTONS just asking this and that is not help when it goes on and one if you don't know I understand but I want to know what can cause this so i can figure out what in the world setting is off on this browser. I never had this problem before. I use Bitdefender but it is just the freebee one so it's not aggressive. I would like to add another shortcut to the Firefox home page, but although there is enough room to add one in the second row, no spaces with an edit tool are visible or available. I am using a MacBookPro with an M3Pro chip.

I have noticed recently that when i try to play certain videos i am sent that are embedded on webpages the screen just goes black and i cannot see anything but i can still hear the video playing in the background. Why is this happening. I have a new HP envy laptop and am using firefox browser but when i use my work laptop which does not have firefox (IBM Thinkpad) i do not face this issue therefore i assume it is a setting in firefox

it is not set as home page but msn page is automatically opening immediately after login in our network but I could not stop it. Please advise how to stop automatically opening msn page in new tap after logging in.

I noticed a small delay before starting videos while I have my AirPods connected. There are a few scenarios where this delay does not exist: - Any other browser - Audio is actively playing elsewhere - Mic is in use (like a zoom meeting in the background, even when muted) - Audio is muted

I have tried safe-mode, reinstalling, and even messing with the config, to no avail. I know for sure this is isolated to Firefox, and I believe it's due to how audio devices are handled. I would rather my videos immediately play rather than wait for a "health" check from my connected device, even if there isn't audio for that time period.
