Recently the options to customize what I'm seeing on my Firefox Home page are gone, but only on one PC (running Windows 10 pro). On my laptop (Windows 11 home), I can see my settings just fine. I tried resetting, then uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox but that didn't solve the issue. I've also disabled extensions.

After update to 140.0.2, clicking on Firefox icon in the dock does nothing. The title bar says Firefox is active, but nothing shows on my screen. What changed? Did you reset something in my preferences?

"I just uploaded a new version of my Firefox extension, but it’s not updating for users who already have it installed. Is there something I might be missing? Shouldn't the extension update automatically? How can I ensure that users get the latest version?"

Do Firefox browsers can change app icons? If not I requested to developer to enhance and upgrade the apps across the platforms. Other browsers can make that feature. I hope developer see my question and fix this.

I'd expect there to be some way of "only showing unread messages" (just like there is in the Desktop version of Thunderbird), but it doesn't seem to be there?

"Mark as read" is there but a bit well-hidden (swipe left either on an individual message or on a thread) but "View only unread" seems to be missing?

This is the case with both a personal Gmail account and a self-hosted IMAP account. In case it's relevant in the first case there is a "[Gmail]/Starred" subfolder but no "[Gmail]/Unread" one; in the second case the only subfolders are ones I have created myself.

Recently all my 100 plus Bookmarks all went to Grey Globes. Never had this issue in years with Firefox. I am working on Mac OS desktop version Ventura 13.7.5 and Firefox 140.0.4. How do I get all my bookmarks to come back to normal? I tried hard refresh and cleared my cache.

Apparently, there was a Windows Update last night (Windows 10). Bookmarks disappeared on Firefox. Went to Manage Bookmarks tab. Went to Import and Backup. Then Restore. There's a prompt to Choose File, but nothing appears. Also, on the left side of the Library window it is blank. On a support page, it showed some sort of list of bookmarks. Nothing like that when I pull it up.

Lately when composing an e-mail at gmail.com on my Firefox the attachment button is missing. As well all styling aids are missing (font, fontsize, bold... etc.). This problem does not arise, when using Chrome or Windows Edge instead Firefox. But I sure want to stay with Firefox.

I exported up my Thunderbird data to an external hard drive from my PC in Croatia which I have been using there for the past year.

I am in South Africa now for a few months and imported the data to my laptop with a new Thunderbird installation.

I have 5 email accounts on one domain, and 1 on another domain.

When I checked for new mail, I was asked for passwords for the 5 accounts on the one domain, and after entering this, the new emails came through fine.

However the one email account on the other domain did not ask for a password, and when I connect I get a message: "Connection to server xxx@xxx.com was reset" I can send emails with this account, but cannot receive any.

Interestingly, I have a previous installation on a desktop PC here in South Africa with the same email accounts. I tried that specific email account and it connects perfectly. The settings are exactly the same.

How do I solve this on my laptop?
