recently I installed the Beta Firefox but later uninstalled it in favor 3.6 but somehow lost all my bookmarks and none of my sites remember my user names or passwords---how do I fix this?
I recently installed the BETA version of Firefox and then uninstalled it in favor of 3.6 but I lost all my bookmarks---which I can live with out but none of the sites I use regularly that require user names and passwords remember me---even after I tell them to. Every site I go to I have to type in my user name and password---how do I fix this?

Sounds that you corrupted your Firefox Profile Folder by running it with a Firefox 4 beta version and downgrading to Firefox 3.6.x
You may need to create a new profile to make things work again properly.
