You might want to ask the developer of that website.

So you mean it is purely a website related problem and not related to Windows, Firefox and its extensions?

Thanks for your reply!

I suspect that is related to that particular website; saving your search history. Try clearing the cookies saved for that website and see if that data is gone.

If that isn't it, try clearing your Form and Search History in Firefox.

It seems that you are right about this being website specific since the autocomplete on other sites don't store the same data as on the site that I have problem on.

I pushed the globe button on the left side of the address bar in FF to erase cookies. So far no change. But at least I know it's website specific so I think I can live with it.

Let's see if autocomplete can autoheal in the future.

I'm not sure if I want to erase all my form and autocomplete data unless I can delete it for one site specifically.

Thanks!

Use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop-down list:

  1. click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
  2. highlight an entry in the drop-down list with the mouse or cursor Down key
do not click the mouse or press the Enter key
  3. press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to delete the highlighted entry
