On my Desktop, Firefox has an option, something like "When opening a link in a new tab, switch to that tab". I always turn it on immediately, by default it's off for some weird reason, to me it seems intuitive that you want to see this link now, just without losing the page you were on. On iOS, on my iPad, this option is missing and functions as if it's off, it never switches focus. And under certain conditions, like watching videos, the current tab is shoved all the way to the right in the tab bar, meaning that I first have to scroll the tab bar before I can manually change to the new tab. This is all counter-intuitive to how it SHOULD work. It's strange that this very useful option is present in the Windows version but not the iOS version. Or if it IS there, I haven't been able to find it despite trying everything.

I keep mine in landscape mode, and when trying to have a page open many will just refresh. I just downloaded dozens of photos — long press, then “add to photos” — and they are nowhere to be found. I discovered too late that I hadn’t turned on permissions for Firefox to access photos. But not once did I get a warning about that. Are those photos actually saved somewhere, or Is there any way to recover them? Either way, why did I not get a warning that Firefox couldn’t access my photos?
