When I log onto elearning for my school, firefox crashes. Sometimes when I go to other websites it crashes also. It does not crash on the start up though. I have the newest version of firefox 8.0 and my mac os is version 10.7.2. I did not have this problem until recently. It has crashed multiple times (14 times). The crashes started on November 14, 2011 and have continued until the present (November 18,2011). I have tried running firefox in safemode and it still crashes. I have also turned off the "use hardware acceleration when available" under preferences, advanced, general. This does not fix the problem. Some webpages do work on firefox, others do not. Most of the time it is after I log into a texas a&m webpage such as howdy and elearning that it crashes. However, some other random pages have also crashed. A couple of times it has crashed on start up.
